This is why we are having such Trouble understanding the H1n1 infection deaths. This article says Pneumonia, as so many do. They should be saying H1N1 which resulted in severe Pneumonia.

Dec. 16--News broke yesterday that prosperity gospel and faith-healing preacher Oral Roberts died from complications of pneumonia. The 91-year-old Oklahoma native and founder of a namesake university and Pentecostal ministry had been in increasingly poor health since suffering a heart attack in 1992. He went into the hospital over the weekend after falling and breaking several bones.

Frailty made Roberts susceptible to the inflammatory lung disease that led to his finally being "called home." Physical and immune system weakness also puts millions of Americans at risk for bacterial, viral or fungal pneumonia each year. The disease is the eighth-leading cause of death in the United States.

Pneumonia usually develops secondarily, meaning most patients succumb to pneumonia after they have already battled another, milder infection or have had another major health problem. For instance, the 10,000 estimated swine flu deaths that occurred in the United States between mid-April and mid-November of this year have largely resulted from the complication of pneumonia.
